Is anyone familiar with National City Bank? I opened a checking account there today, and I understood that their cut off time for change of business date is 4:00 p.m., but I’m looking at my personal account agreement book, and it says 2:00 p.m. Does anyone here know which is right. I guess I should go with what the book says, but I know the banker said 4:00 p.m. because we had a lengthy discussion about it.
For those of us who know that there’s no objective provider of moral standards, and who believe each culture defines its own moral standards, a question on why today’s youth appear to be so wretchedly scary – have we allowed the good principles of the hippy generation to be hijacked by marketeers, leading to a culture that tells young people they can have everything bigger and brighter and faster and NOW…?
Zebra – lol of course I’m getting old and have lost my connection to modern youth – d’uh! ;oD
www.mlmendlesspossibilities.com “Ground Floor Opportunity” doesn’t mean much if you pick a business which won’t survive long past the start up process. Watch this for some tips on selecting a business which will be around for the long haul to ensure your continuing success!
Bill Palte www.mlmintegritymarketing.com If you have been around the MLM industry very long, you have seen all of the hype that is generated when a new pre-launch MLM opportunity is announced. The pre-launch announcement supposedly gives people the chance to get in to the new opportunity before everybody else. The question is who IS everybody else? Apparently, everybody is everybody. There is no distinction between who gets in and who doesnt, so everybody has the chance to spend there money to beat the crowd. The net effect is that the herd mentality continues and 97% of the failing marketers move on to the next opportunity. When the pre-launch opportunity is marketed to the world, the only thing missing on the pre-launch is the thousands of ads offering the next best thing. Unfortunately most of the ads published are the same for the new opportunity as they were for the last one, except for a name change. So is this great marketing or something much less? I tend to believe the pre-launch is the newest marketing idea to try to attract the 98% of marketers that keep bouncing from opportunity to opportunity. They never make any money so they dont stay with one company very long.
Last week, I asked a woman out who cuts my hair. She works at a nationally-known chain. She said she’d be glad to get together. She told me to call her this week to see when we could meet. Her boss yelled at both her and me because it turns out this company has strict policies regarding employees dating customers. I think that is wrong! Do you agree? If not, why not? And why would businesses care if their workers date customers?
My best friend is in the end stages of terminal cancer. She currently has a home hospice working with her, but even though they’re trying, they aren’t meeting her needs. She has very good insurance, and is looking for a hospice that have very caring and nurturing personnel, which includes the nurses, doctors, and any aides that may be assigned to her. If anyone has any real experience with a hospice like this, I would love to know about them so I could check them out and give my friend some recommendations.
I was a little worried when all of McCain **** tactics erased Obama’s lead over the course of the summer. But the events of yesterday and today have most likely decided this election. Obama is a gifted speaker who has just inspired a new generation. Then McCain cheaply steals his thunder by choosing an inept running mate, in a very transparent move…
As the old stuborn people die off this country becomes more and more liberal with the babyboomer generation leading the way. Makes sense if you look at Western Europe which is 20-30 years ahead of the US in terms of culture and science. The idea that stem cell research can’t be done because someone has a moral issue with it makes me ashamed to be an American.
I would leave and will but I have elderly family members that need me now. Family is far more important than any stupid country.
Hippies that are old are still cool.
