My intentions are to start a production company based out of my house. For simplicity I feel forming a DBA instead of a corporation is my best bet. However my problem is that i'm currently renting, and it probably won't be my residence for the duration of my business venture. Do I have any other options? Could I set up a business using a po box or something like that? Currently, I can't afford to rent out a permanent location to do business out of (its my plan to do so in the future, however money is an issue at the moment.) Should I just form it using my current address and change it as I move? What happens if I sell a video, then move, and the address i'm living at currently is listed as the companies place of business, when its not? And in that case, if a viewer went to the address listed as the place of business and the new tenants answered… if something were to happen couldn't I be held liable?
