I have spent most of the last 15 years building my business and thus have not had a lot of time to date. At 39 have finally been able to slow down enough and let the people who work for me take care of most of the day to day operation. Really want to meet someone, get married and start a family before I get too old. My problem is that the few women have went out with (been using online dating site) just seem to be interested in my money more then in myself. Have went out with about 7 different women over the past year and after 3rd or 4th date it becomes apparent they are more into my money then into me. Have been thinking of making up something as being what I do for a living. Also changing my online dating profile to reflect this same thing. Not that really want to lie but prefer to meet someone that wants me for me not me for the money.

I have to admit am not the best looking guy in the world and not looking for some super model either. But want to meet someone who has head on straight, good personality and as stated not going out with me just because of what I have. Not sure have really described this well but in basic terms would be wrong to maybe just act like I work at the company I own as maybe just a developer or something rather then the owner? **** to enter a relationship on a lie but maybe stretching the truth isn't a bad thing?
